She was predeceased by: her husband Harry Posar; her siblings, Bernie Fidler (late Betty), Sylvia Leeds (late Lyle) and Leonard Fidler (Marilynn Spoon); and her parents, Ann Fidler and Herman Fidler.

She is survived by: her children, Dr. Cary Posar (Rhonda), Karen Zaks (Larry) and Helene Stewart (Jeffrey); her grandchildren, Alyssa Romano (Illan), Adam Posar (Jessica), Dr. Jeremy Zaks, Matthew Zaks (Chinna Gangadharan), Jordan Stewart (Sarah Sallen), Dr. Joshua Stewart and Rachel Scharg (Gabriel); her great grandchildren, Isabella Romano, Kaia Romano, Arbor Stewart, Maple Stewart, Roman Posar, Rose Posar, Lyla Scharg and Zoe Zaks; and her brother Arthur Fidler (Bunny). She is also survived by loving nieces, nephews, and friends.
