He is survived by: his wife Vivian Friedman; his children, Stacey Reed, Darryl Friedman (Tori), Avery Gottfried (Marlene), Dr. David Gottfried (Rabbi Pamela) and Lisa Pooler (Rich); his grandchildren, Jennifer DeLia, Jeffrey DeLia, Madison Friedman, Mallory Friedman, Matthew Gottfried, Rachel Gottfried, Maital Gottfried, Shira Gottfried, Jonah Gottfried, Mollie Pooler and Georgia Pooler; and his siblings, Gilbert Friedman (late Helene) and Elaine Lavetter (Mark). He is also survived by other loving family members and friends.

Charitable contributions: A charity of one's choice Family Members: Eugene was a Magistrate for 46th District Court in Southfield.
