She was predeceased by: her husband Richard Abel; her brothers, Dr. Gerald Sherman and Irving Sherman; her sister-in-law Ann Sherman Harris; and her parents, Blanche Sherman and Benjamin Sherman.
She is survived by: her children, Cheryl Goodwin (late Doug) and Jeffrey Sherman Abel; and her siblings-in-law, Renee Sherman and Beverly Salasnek (late Lowell). She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
