With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Hannah Schanes of West Bloomfield, Michigan, who passed away on December 2, 2022. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Larry Schanes; her great grandchild Theo Strickstein; and her parents, Bernard Blumenstein and Ruth Blumenstein. She is survived by: her children, Dave Schanes, Steve Schanes (Cheryl) and Dana Schanes Rhodes (Brad Gordon); her grandchildren, Jaclyn Gach (Brian), Jennifer Schanes (Josh Mendelsohn), Lauren Strickstein (Ryan), Erin Rhodes and Jamie Rhodes; her great grandchildren, Leni Gach, Josie Mendelsohn, Lainie Strickstein and Gabriella Strickstein; her brother Sam Blumenstein (late Arleen); and her son-in-law Michael Rhodes. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
