He was predeceased by: his sibling-in-law Freya Hansel; and his parents, Henrietta Silk and Alexander Silk. He is survived by: his wife Elaine Silk; his children, Jeffrey Silk (Pamela) and Laura Maurer (Mark); his grandchildren, Jay Silk, Ava Silk and Richard Maurer (Julie); and his brother Kenneth Silk (Paula).
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 4th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Ira Kaufman Chapel (18325 W Nine Mile Rd, Southfield, MI 48075).
