James Mouzakis Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on January 20, 2026, at the age of 98, James Mouzakis of West Bloomfield, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmanuel Mouzakis and Ida Mouzakis; his wife Mary; and his brother Mitchell. He is survived by: his children, Ann Downing, Karen Larabell, Kathy Hourdakis and Kris Jensen; his grandchildren, James, Stefanie, Patrick, Sean, Georgeann, Kristen, Alexandra and Gabby; his great grandchildren, Harper, Nadine, Jordana, Angelo, Remi and Ryah; and his nephew Michael.

Memorial donations in Jim's name can be made to the American Heart Association or the Golf Association of Michigan.
