He was predeceased by: his parents, Virginia R. Brunsch (Loewe) and Harold W. Brunsch; his stepfather Ed; and his brother Tom Brunsch. He is survived by: his wife Judy Smith; his sons, Josh Chesnut (Heather) and Bradley Smith; his grandsons, Colin and Dylan; and his siblings, Doug Brunsch (Michelle), Janet Donnelly (Howard) and Doug Gerdes (Phyllis). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins.
