It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Shirts of West Bloomfield, Michigan, who passed away on January 2, 2026, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jordan Jensen and Elma Jensen; her brother Grant Ray Jensen; and her son Kevin George Shirts. She is survived by: her husband George Hal Shirts; her siblings, Glen Jay Jensen, Peggy Jensen Cappo and Wylene Jensen Ika; and her children, John Michael Shirts, Janene Shirts Whitaker, Amy Shirts Driscoll, Lisa Shirts Horne, Randy James Shirts, Mark Jared Shirts and Cory Jensen Shirts. She is also survived by her 19 grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Joyce's name can be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
