It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Judith (Judy) Ann LaFata of West Bloomfield, Michigan, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on April 21, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Judith may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Judith touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Joseph O'Halloran and Donna O'Halloran; and her sisters, Cathy Fearon (Robert), Gale Cusmano (Frank) and Jackie Engels (Paul).

She is survived by : her husband Joseph; her son James; and her sister DonnaJo Harned (Thomas).

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 9:00 AM at the Our Lady of Refuge Catholic Church (3700 Commerce Rd, West Bloomfield Township, MI 48324). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
