He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Meg Kaplan; his children, Kip Jr. Kaplan (Jill), Kevin Kaplan (Debra), Caroline Kaplan, Carlene Jonas (Jack) and Catherine Loew (Matthew); his siblings, Nikki Stern (late Fred), Lauren Dee Kaplan, Michal Kaplan and Kerry Kaplan; his parents-in-law, Sherman Mendelsohn and Suzanne Mendelsohn; and his siblings-in-law, Robin Reznick (Harvey), Cathy Scholnick (Gary) and Eric. He was also cherished by 13 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and many loving cousins, nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
