He was predeceased by: his sibling Stanley Rosenfeld; and his sibling-in-law Robin Borr. He is survived by: his wife Marcy Tucker; his children, Joshua Rosenfeld, Zachary (Bina Colman) and Jessica Colman Cheng; his son-in-law Eric Cheg; his siblings-in-law, Shay Rosenfeld, Sheryl Rosenfeld, Stuart Friedman, Suzzane Schuelke, Risa Borr, Marilyn Rosenfeld, Marilyn Tucker, Stefan Tucker and Bonnie Tucker; his grandchildren, Talia Cheng, Aiken Colman and Jae Colman; and his nieces and nephews, Elizabeth Rosenfeld, Megan Rosenfeld, Isabelle Borr, Jason Rosenfeld (Michelle), Eric Rosenfeld, Matthew Tucker (Jane) and Lawrence Tucker. He is also survived by great nieces and great nephews, other family members and friends.

“Marty was my best friend from elementary school through college. We played "Army" in my Grandmother's field, built electronic equipment in our basements, were student announcers at WFBE when it was behind Central High School, cruised Saginaw St. and hung at the A&W and Kewpee's together. When I recall tales of my "Coming of Age", Marty is always front & center in the recollections. We discovered the world through each other's eyes. We shared dinners at each others house, celebrated holidays of both our religions, looked up to Skip as our Big Brother, marveled at Shay upon his birth and knew the other's deepest secrets. Marty lives on in my heart and in the security questions to many websites when asked, "Who was your best friend in school"........ You were, Marty. You, really, really were!”
