He was predeceased by: his wife Sally Krugel; his brother Dr. Lawrence Krugel; and his siblings-in-law, Charles Ellstein, Joe Wildberg, Carol Krugel, Ben Sorscher, Alan Sorscher, Raymond Failer and Ed Landy.
He is survived by: his sons, Joel Krugel (Heidi Brode), Howard Krugel (Terri) and Noah Krugel (Ellen); his grandchildren, Darby, Cami, Sloane, Orley, Jesse and Adam Krugel; his sister Dr. Carol Ellstein; and his siblings-in-law, Alyeen Krugel, Devorah Failer, Sandra Landy, Barbara Sorscher and Linda Sorscher. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Ira Kaufman Chapel (18325 W Nine Mile Rd, Southfield, MI 48075). A reception was held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 at 2:00 PM and on Friday, October 31st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Shiva House. For information about Shiva, please contact the family. Family and friends will gather on Thursday beginning at 2:00 p. m. and on Friday from 1:00-5:00 p. m. ***Please note: due to road closures, please use GPS to the shiva house.
