He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Penfil; his children, Julie Pavia, Jody Rosenberg (Scott) and Jeffrey Penfil; his granddaughters, Rachel Pavia (Johan Arango Quiroga), Mara Pavia and Isabella Rosenberg; and his brother Dr. Richard Penfil (Pamela). He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews and marvelous friends.
