She was predeceased by: her husband Abe Komisar; her siblings, Freda Cohen (late Jack), Cecile Price Seltzer, Selda Friedman (late Obbie) and Marilyn Gonte (late Nick); her parents, Bessie Price and Abraham Price; and her parents-in-law, Anna and Benjamin Komisar.
She is survived by: her children, Roz Blanck (Stanford), Beth Komisar and Bruce Komisar (Samantha); her grandchildren, Lisa Ehrlich (Peter), Adam Blanck (Lauren Mondry Blanck), Jenna Gutner (Jake) and Madison Kerouac (Matt); and her great grandchildren, Mia, Alexandra Ehrlich, Jesse, Ayla, Elliot Blanck, Pierce Gutner and Kinsley Kerouac. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Ira Kaufman Chapel (18325 W Nine Mile Rd, Southfield, MI 48075). A shiva was held on Thursday, May 15th 2025 at the Home of Roz and Stanford Blanck (31305 Woodside Dr, Franklin, MI 48025).
