He was loved and cherished by many people including : his wife Carol Cohen; his children, Dr. Robert Cohen (Elyse) and Julie Silva (Brad); his grandchildren, Ava Cohen, Ryan Cohen, Isabella Silva and Chloe Silva; his siblings, Elayne Strong and Lynn Miller; his sisters-in-law, Wendy Heller Kippelman (Marc Kippelman) and Dr. Barbara Burstein (Daniel); his nieces and nephews, Stephanie Heller, Jackie Issner (Marc), Nicole Steinberg (Steve) and Kacie Strong; and his parents, Rae Cohen and Lawrence Cohen.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 11th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Residence of Wendy Heller Kippelman and Marc Kippelman (5060 Winlane Dr, Bloomfield Twp, MI 48302). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 11th 2024 at 7:00 PM. A reception was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
