George Arthur Goodchild Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of George Arthur Goodchild in West Branch, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 9, 2026 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Carolyn Lee Goodchild (Kohn); his parents, Katherine Goodchild (Sievers) and Edward Goodchild; and his brother Paul Goodchild. He is survived by: his children, Chad Goodchild (Rebecca), Jeffiny Shutts (Steve) and Janae Newland (LeRoy); his grandchildren, Hayden, Sophia, Roark, Pierce, Whitman, Everlie and Boden; and his siblings, Joan Elliott, Cindy Koory and Mark Goodchild.
