Joan Rosetta Curtis Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan Rosetta Curtis of West Branch, Michigan, who passed away on June 26, 2025 at the age of 92. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joan Rosetta Curtis to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Illig and Rosetta Illig (Walter); her husband Glen Curtis; her siblings, Walter (Janice), Ken (Annie), Jerome (Florence), Delores Wangler (Vern) and Alice Bartels; her stepsiblings, Virginia Schaefer, Melva Goldy, Bea Kartes, Ty Green, Vern Green and Frank "Sonny" Green Jr. Additionally; and her siblings-in-law, John Klann and Lorraine Illig.
She is survived by: her children, Randy Curtis (Mary Jo), Glenda Rogers (Donald), Ron Curtis and Rick Curtis (Brandy); her grandchildren, Ryan Curtis (Jen Blair), Ashley Tarras (Kevin), Reggie Curtis, Allison Lockshier (Roger), Tony Curtis, Alyssa Wood (Taner), Haley Curtis and Hannah Wenkel; her great grandchildren, Desmond, Esme, Liam, Lyla, Aaron, Mallorie, Kenneth, Andrew, Lucas, Sophie and Jude; and her siblings, Gerald "Chum" Illig, Geraldine Klann, Rose Marie Detzler (Roger) and Mary Ann Benjamin (Roy). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 29th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, June 30th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Calendar St. Joseph Catholic Church (961 W Houghton Ave, West Branch, MI 48661).
