With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John M. Clayton of West Branch, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 9, 2026 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James L. Clayton and Dorothy M. Clayton (Curtis); his wife Patricia Clayton; and his brothers, Chuck Clayton and Thomas Clayton.
He is survived by: his children, John Clayton (Ann) of Gladwin, MI, Holly Brindley (Brian) of West Branch, MI and Rusty Matthew-Clayton (Ian); his grandchildren, Jacob Clayton, Kaleb Clayton, Kellen VonSteenburg, Boston Brindley, Greyson Brindley, Zackery Manning (Amanda), Lucas Manning, Brooke Marsrow and Maya Marsrow; and his siblings, Jim Clayton, Julie Globke and Rose DeMatio (Mark).
