He was predeceased by: his parents, F. Oscar Johnson and Ethel M. Johnson (Stephens); his wife Jacqueline Johnson; his brothers, Frank Johnson, Charles Johnson (Barb) and Lowell Johnson (Viola); his son Mark Johnson; his son-in-law Kevin Brady; and his in-laws, Reverend Carl Waidelich, Barbara Soll and Marena (Don Mikol).
He is survived by: his daughter Beth Ziegler (Dave) of Dexter, MI; his stepchildren, Dean DeRosia (Sally) of Phoenix, AZ, Dale DeRosia (Hao) of Glendale, AZ and Sharon DeRosia Brady of West Branch, MI; his nephew Rich Johnson (Jennifer); and his great-uncle Lyle. He is also survived by grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Compassus Hospice of West Branch, or St. John Lutheran Church, West Branch.
