He is survived by: his children, Tina Sisco (Dennis), Tammy Stoian (Nelu), Kim Blackett and Robert Melvin (Mary); his grandchildren, David Hepler, Danielle Garmling, Steve Dungan, Kyle Sisco, Mitchel Dungan, Kory Sisco, Ashley Martin and Chelsea Melvin; his great grandchildren, Isaac, Jacob, Lily, Brianna, Tyler, Liam, Mallery and Maxwell; and his brother Gerald Melvin.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Ogemaw Commission on Aging in memory of Robert.
