He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Gassman and Dorothy Gassman (Garter); and his close friend Chris O'Grady. He is survived by: his wife Rachel Gassman of West Branch; his children, Katie Wend of Rose City, Bret Schunk of Wedowee, AL, Alyson Gassman of Fort Wayne, IN, Devin Schunk (Kayla) of West Branch, Desirae Schunk of West Branch, Justine Braley-Gassman of West Branch and Adriana Gassman of West Branch; his grandchildren, Aiden, Levi, Karlie, Artemis and Korra; and his siblings, Sandra Arini (Jim) of St. Helen, David Gassman (Angie) of Muskegon and Richard Gassman of West Branch. He is also survived by his family, friends.
