We bid farewell to Catherine Gayle Carlson of West Olive, Michigan, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 27, 2025 at the age of 76. Catherine touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Glenn Ruggles and Lois Ruggles (Dafoe); her grandson Tristen Carlson; her daughter-in-law Laura Carlson; and her siblings, Joyce, Jim, Norman and Ron.
She is survived by: her husband Wilford; her children, Melissa Potvin and Mark Carlson (Nikki); her grandchildren, Andrea Potvin, Rachael Potvin, Sarah Potvin, Ethan Carlson and Hannah Carlson; her great grandchild Addilyn; and her brother Leonard Ruggles. She is also survived by other loving family members and friends.
Viewing will be held on Sunday, November 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, November 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Allen Funeral Home (9136 Davison Rd, Davison, MI 48423). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. Visitation will be held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Great Lakes National Cemetery (4200 Belford Rd, Holly, MI 48442).
