She was predeceased by : her parents, Karl Probst and Harriet Probst (Snyder); her husband Lester Miles, Jr.; her children, James Miles and Cindy Miles; and her grandchildren, Michael Miles and Tonia Miles.

She is survived by : her children, Brenda Cook (Michael), Brian Miles (Kristy), Gary Miles (Lori) and Timothy Miles (Doris). She is also survived by four grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
