He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert J. Boglarsky and Justine Boglarsky; his wife Cecile; and his brother Paul Boglarsky. He is survived by: his children, Mary Oesterwind (Don), Cheryl Boglarsky (Tim Jeruzal), Christine Ferguson (Tom) and Terry Millis (Jim); his grandchildren, Alexandra Ferguson (Hannah Robertson), Paige Ferguson, Nicholas Ferguson, Maya Millis and Jenna Millis; his sister Ann Marie Mara; and his sister-in-law Linda Burbank. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the L. J. Griffin Funeral Home (7707 Middlebelt Rd, Westland, MI 48185). A rosary was held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the L. J. Griffin Funeral Home-Westland (7707 Middlebelt Rd, Westland, MI 48185). The lying in state was held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Our Joy Catholic Church (8200 N Wayne Rd, Westland, MI 48185). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Solanus Casey Center (https://www.solanuscasey.org) or the Capuchin Soup Kitchen.
