We are sad to announce that on November 12, 2023, at the age of 89, Betty Jean Carpenter (Westland, Michigan), born in Yates Center, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Merlin Carpenter; her parents, George Conn and Ethel Conn; and her sisters, Frances Meyer and Vera Goebel.

She is survived by: her son Darin Carpenter (Debbie); and her grandsons, Brandon Carpenter and Matthew Carpenter. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Newburgh United Methodist Church or make a donation in her honor to a charity of your choice.
