He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Teresia Boertje and Jacob Boertje; his wife Lynn Ann Boertje; his siblings, Michael Boertje (Andrea) and Deborah Boertje; his children, Jakob Boertje and Holland Boertje (Kevin Lutley); and his grandson Oliver Boertje (Millie).
