Catherine West Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 13, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Catherine West of Westland, Michigan. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though Catherine may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Catherine touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Clyde West and Catherine West; her daughters, Jean Schmuck and Ann DeMara; her granddaughter Caitlin DeMara; her close friend Ed Parisien; and her sister Carolyn "Dina" Eagle.
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Our Joy Catholic Church (8200 N Wayne Rd, Westland, MI 48185). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
