He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Lynn Margaret Carpenter; his sons, David Allan Carpenter (Jill), James Carpenter and Michael Carpenter; his sisters, Alice Spuck (Earl), Susan Keomany (Phay) and Barbara McMurdie; his granddaughters, Gabrielle and Josephine Carpenter; and his parents, Robert Allan Carpenter and Irene Mae Carpenter. He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
