He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Dona; his children, Dona Sue Dobbins (Leonard), Cheryl Moreno (Gonzalo), Timothy Schroeder (Christina) and Beth Kahl (Ken); his grandchildren, Michael Smith (Kaitlyn), Sarah Meinhart (Mark), Daniel Smith (Jessica), Christopher Smith (Megan), Jimmie Smith (Megan Ellis), Whitney Carpenter (Joshua), Alexander Schroeder (Sarah), Neola Wynn (John) and Josiah Schroeder (Hannah); his great grandchildren, Guerwens Smith, Jake Smith, Eli Smith, Ella Meinhart, John Meinhart, Ben Meinhart, Peter Meinhart, Colton Smith, Evie Smith, Jackson Schroeder, Flynn Schroeder and Aria Schroeder; and his sister Wilma Elder (late Robert).
