It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Deloris Ann Schacht of Westland, Michigan, who passed away on April 18, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Deloris Ann Schacht to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Herbert Wamsley and Mary Wamsley; her husband Donald Delbert Schacht, Sr.; and her son Donald D. Jr. (Terry). She is survived by : her children, Dale D. (Kathleen), Douglas D. (Elizabeth), Darryl D. (Veronica), David D. (Nicole) and Darla A. Butcher (Bradley); and her siblings, Barbara Kidd (Ronald), Lawrence and Ronald Wamsley. She is also survived by her 15 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the L. J. Griffin Funeral Home - Westland (7707 Middlebelt Rd, Westland, MI 48185). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in Deloris' name to The Porches, 435 Murner Road, Gaylord, MI 49735, in recognition to the wonderful care provided by their kind staff.
