He was predeceased by: his wife Peggy (Riordan); his parents, Willard and Bridget; and his siblings, Edward, Patricia and Virginia (Jack).
He is survived by: his children, Jeff Curnutte (Kathy), Jim Curnutte (Julie), Carin Burns (Rick), Lisa Miller (Gary), Paul Curnutte (Martha) and Alison Bushaw (Ron). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM. The military honors was held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 7:00 PM. A Mass was held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Our Joy Catholic Church (8200 N Wayne Rd, Westland, MI 48185).
