She was predeceased by: her husband Richard; her sister Geraldine Abee; and her brother-in-law Ronald Abee. She is survived by: her children, Karen Kubit (David), Rick Howard (Karyn) and Patrick Howard (Susan); and her grandchildren, Samantha Todd (Jay), Matthew Kubit, Jennifer Morelli, Ryne Howard, Elain Howard and Lisa Mapley (Drew).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 22nd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the L. J. Griffin Funeral Home (8809 Wayne Rd, Livonia, MI 48150). A rosary was held on Wednesday, April 22nd 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location. The lying in state was held on Thursday, April 23rd 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Our Joy Catholic Church (8200 N Wayne Rd, Westland, MI 48185). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, April 23rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Jean's memory are suggested to St. Mary, Cause of Our Joy Catholic Church.
