She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Genautis and Carole Genautis; and her brother Richard Genautis. She is survived by: her sons, Charles Borener (Heather), Nathan Borener and Jeffrey Borener (Amanda); her granddaughter Harper Borener; and her siblings, Russ Genautis (Deb), Cyndi Andree (Steve), Lesa Smigiel (Bob) and Rob Genautis (Floriza).
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 19th 2025 from 4:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the Nie Family Funeral Home, Carpenter Road Chapel (2400 Carpenter Rd, Ann Arbor, MI 48108). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM and at 11:30 AM.
