She was predeceased by: her father William Thurmond. She is survived by: her mother Natalie Thurmond; her husband Richard M. Rich; her children, Crystal Bowling (Tommy), Rick Rich, II (Laurie) and Ashley Frey (Patrick); her grandchildren, Rilee, Emma, Jackson, Sophia, Justin, Elliott and Linkin; and her siblings, Steve Thurmond (Marianne) and Sandy Dean (Don). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Operation Christmas Child or Fair Haven Baptist Church.
