He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James Jorgensen and Lorraine Gaffke; his wife Becky; and his siblings, James Jorgensen (Katherine), Patricia King (late Robert) and Dorothy Mateja (Joseph). He was also cherished by his nieces and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews; and his stepfamily, extended family, and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the L. J. Griffin Funeral Home (8809 Wayne Rd, Livonia, MI 48150). The lying in state will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location. The military honors will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
