The family announces the passing of Steven James Whiteman of Westland, Michigan on October 15, 2026. Steven, born on March 30, 1977 in Garden City, Michigan, was part of many shared moments and relationships throughout life. Steven will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Friends and family will honor Steven by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence he had in their lives. Though Steven is no longer present, the bonds he created and the experiences shared will endure. Steven’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew him.
He was predeceased by: his brother Christopher Dunklee. He is survived by: his wife Breanne; his parents, Patrise Dunklee and John Dunklee; and his sister Traci Maddison (John). He is also survived by 8 nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, December 27th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the American Legion Post 396 (6860 Middlebelt Rd, Garden City, MI 48135).
