He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Connie; his children, Holly Ruark, Heather Ruark (Matthew Desselles) and Tommy Ruark; his grandchildren, Fox Laughlin, Danielle Desselles, Cael Laughlin, Matthew Desselles Jr. and Emma Desselles; and his brothers, Donald, Ronald and Timothy Ruark. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 8th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Vermeulen-Sajewski Funeral Home (980 N Newburgh Rd, Westland, MI 48185). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 9th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
