He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Arens and Verena Arens (Rademacher); his wife Sandra; and his siblings, Loretta, Francis (Barb), Bernice Schneider (John), Richard, Harold, Mildred, Kenneth, Rosemary and Arlene Taylor (Thomas).
He is survived by: his sons, Rick Arens of Indianapolis, IN and Todd Arens (Jennifer) of DeWitt; his grandchildren, Tyler, David, Rachel, Hailey and Brayden; his brother Joe Arens (Eunice); and his siblings-in-law, Charlene Werner (Bill) and Bill Bohr (Shirley). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
