David Wenzel Obituary

We bid farewell to David Wenzel (Wheeler, Michigan), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 17, 2025 at the age of 88. David touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, George C. Wenzel and Hazel F. Wenzel (Clark); and his daughter Susan Coe. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Mau; his sons, Greg Wenzel (Lynette), Michael Wenzel, Donald Wenzel and David Wenzel (Melissa); his grandchildren, Kayla Wiklanski (Cory), Alyssa Ortega (David), Alexandria Wenzel, Samantha Wenzel, Matthew Coe, Tiffany Coe, Tyler Wenzel (Sarah), Brianna Wenzel and Meagan Dotson; his brothers, Richard Wenzel, Daniel Wenzel, Gerald Wenzel and Ben Wenzel (Lana); and his sister-in-law Jan Block (Lon). He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Immanuel Lutheran Church (10020 E Monroe Rd, Wheeler, MI 48637).
