He was predeceased by: his parents, Lenora Foster (Battley) and Ted Foster; his wife Phyllis Spiece; his grandson Josh Mills; and his great grandchild Tarah Smith.
He is survived by: his children, Karen Mills, Debra Van Orman (Kevin), Michael Foster (Lukiah), Diane Dowker (Don) and Kelly Sakkinen (Dan); his half-siblings, Ted Foster Jr. and Susan Foster; and his sister-in-law Mary Lou Spiece. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
