He is survived by: his mother Lucille Cowles; his children, Rachel Nelson, Bill Cowles (Karen), Karolyn Murphy (Justin) and Alen Cowles (Staci); his grandchildren, Cody, Shelby, Ella, Troy, Abby, Izzie, Sophie and Lily; and his siblings, Julie Carr (Harold) and Mike Cowles. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
