He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Elsie Inger Davis (Wismar) and Virginia Doris Root; his wife Virginia; his sons, Rick Davis (Sunny) of White Cloud, Larry "Butch" Davis of White Cloud and Tom Davis (Tammy) of Traverse City; his grandchildren, Monica Traynor (Phil), Andrew Davis, Chad Davis, Levi Davis, Brett Davis, Elyse Davis and Shane Davis; his great grandchildren, Kara Davis, Xander Traynor and Cadence Traynor; his sisters, Eloise Simmons of Indiana and Marvel Povey (Kevin) of White Cloud; his siblings-in-law, Audrey Davis, Joyce Moore, Melody Olson, Penny Underhill, Henrietta Davis, Chuck Root and Ross Normand; his son Glenn A. "Buck" Davis; and his brother Peter Davis. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
