She was predeceased by: her parents, Courtney George and Aurelia Julia Afton (Noom); her husband Paul Thumser; and her siblings, Richard, Harold, Clifford Afton, Aurelia Bills and Agnes Rivett.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Hosman (Mary Jo) of Newaygo, Cheryl McClure (Matt) of Newaygo, Steve Hosman of Newaygo, Lori Schultz (Randy) of Newaygo, Mark Thumser (Sue) of White Cloud, Paula Kunst (Todd) of Alto, Amy Woodworth of Grand Rapids and Nancy Parsons (Scott) of White Cloud. She is also survived by 25 grandchildren & 37 great-grandchildren.
