She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Thomas and Anna Thomas (Schultz); and her brother John Thomas. She is survived by: her husband Steven J. Tanis; her children, Aimee Ward (James) and Chad Tanis; her granddaughters, Emma and Molly Ward; and her siblings, Matthew Thomas (Toni), Robin Burson, Mark Thomas, Luke Thomas (Marsia) and Chalah Dicesare (Joe). She is also survived by many nieces & nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be given to the Newaygo County Compassion Home.
