She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband George Helzer; her children, Sharon McDonald (Jean Dormo), Linda Wilson (Dennis), Debbie Stoltenberg (Richard) and Rick Helzer (Jill Borysiak); her grandchildren, Michael (Jackie), Jason (Marcy), Jeff (Heather), Chris (Jenni) and Rick (Andrea); her great grandchildren, Jolie, Aubrie, Vivian, Rylan, Ozzie, Olivia, Jovi, Hunter and Reed; and her sister Dorothy Audet (Paul).

Memorials may be made to Saint Trinity Lutheran Church or the Salvation Army.
