He is survived by: his spouse Sandy Monroe; his children, Holly Smith (Jeremy), Kristyn Donaldson (Erick) and Robert Monroe (Brandi); his stepson Andy Backy (Debbie); his grandchildren, Lorene Justice, Connor Smith, Karley Smith, Lilley Smith, Logan Smith, Cameron Donaldson, Dylan Donaldson, Landon Donaldson, Gabby Monroe, Gavin Monroe, Maddie Wheat, Logan Wheat, Gavin Wheat and Brianna Backy; his great grandchildren, Braylen and Leilah; his father-in-law Ward Rexford; his stepfather-in-law Bill Oldenburg; his sibling Jan Hungerford (late Doug); and his brother-in-law Jeff Rexford.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Flint Central Church of the Nazarene (1261 W Bristol Rd, Flint, MI 48507).
