It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lawrence John Tarvas of White Pine, Michigan, who passed away on July 8, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Reino Tarvas and Viola Tarvas; his stepfather Harold Reichardt (Lorraine); his son Clyde; and his siblings-in-law, Robert, Frank Perrow (Lorraine "Penny"), Terry Baillargeon and Darlene Chouinard (Larry).
He is survived by : his wife Lorraine; his sisters, Kathy Thomas and Susan Baillargeon; his children, Bryan Tarvas (Carissa) and Julie Harris (Chris); his siblings-in-law, Gerry Golden (Clyde) and Keith Perrow (Carrole); and his great grandchildren, Cody (Megan), Carli (Nathan), Leet, Clyde "Jeb" Tarvas, Ashley (Kyle), Schultz (Finley), Courtney, Harrison, Breanna Tarvas, Brandon Reinhardt, Matthew, Mitchell (Tayler), Jessica LaBerge, Jamie Christie (Mike), Cameron Harris, Mike (Jackie), Wienckowski, Amanda (John), Rogerson and Danny Washburn. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
