We are sad to announce that on April 9, 2023, at the age of 87, Charles Arthur McCarthy of Whitehall, Michigan, born in Muskegon, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Norman McCarthy and Nellie McCarthy; his siblings, Gene, Donald, Norma Joan (Dick Drummond) and Suzanne; and his nieces, Rhonda Egtvedt and Theresa Weller.

He is survived by : his wife Barbara Joyce; his children, Christine (Jim Gallagher), Carla, Keith Van Heukelom and Colin; and his close friends, Roger Schilleman, John Klinefelter, Gordy Huttenga and John Hansen. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to Harbor Hospice, 1050 W. Western Ave. #400, Muskegon, MI 49441.
