She was predeceased by: her father Louis Sherrod; and her brother Dennis Sherrod. She is survived by: her mother Marraice Sherrod; her daughter Mariah Sherrod; and her siblings, Denice Sherrod-Kough, Sherri L. Sherrod, Vanessa Fountain (Robert), Tahneea Sherrod, Lewis Sherrod, Bradley Sherrod (Joezette) and Louis Sherrod III. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and lifelong friends.
