He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Munn and Thelma Munn (Gerling); his brother Charles James Munn; and his siblings-in-law, Robert Hoyer, Charles Simon, Norma Simon and Mary Hoyer.

He is survived by: his significant other Marilyn Gwinnup; his sons, Thomas Munn, Richard Munn and Michael Munn; his stepchildren, Linda Decker (Rocky), Beth Mass and Brian Jaekel (Kara); and his grandchildren, Jennifer, Catherine, Sara, Andrew, Alex, Michael, Dennis (Jodie), Drew (Kara), Jason (Misty), Jessica, Judi and Austin. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
